As the industry heads to Rio de Janeiro for the 2025 SBC Summit, MD of Kambi Sportsbook Erik Lögdberg shares his thoughts on how to secure sportsbook success throughout Latin America 

Why is Kambi attending SBC Rio, and what are your priorities at the show? 

SBC Events are always among the highlights of the sports betting calendar. They offer fantastic opportunities to connect with prospects and partners, as well as collaborate with stakeholders from across the industry on new innovations and best practice. 

Latin America is a significant and growing market for sports betting. This has been thrown into even sharper focus by regulation in Brazil, and Kambi will have a large team on hand to talk delegates through how our full product portfolio can help to unlock their ambitions throughout the region. 

How would you describe Kambi’s position in Latin America? Which markets are you prioritising in 2025? 

Kambi is established as the premium sportsbook provider of choice for operators throughout Latin America, live in jurisdictions including Argentina, Colombia, Mexico and Peru and powering market leaders including BetPlay, BetWarrior, Olimpo.bet and RushBet. 

Having only launched regulated sports betting a few weeks ago, Brazil is naturally a hugely exciting market for Kambi. We have put a great deal of effort into fine tuning every aspect of our products and services for the Brazilian market, and were proud to power day one launches for several partners after regulation.  

These partners included KTO, a significant recent partnership for Kambi’s Turnkey Sportsbook. KTO selected Kambi’s powerful end-to-end offering to replace its pre-existing supplier – underlining that operators in regulated markets view technology that has been proven to provide high-performance and regulatory certainty as crucial to compete and grow against market leaders. 

We are also live with Stake, having been selected to support the operator’s growth in regulated markets, alongside brands including BetMGM and BetWarrior.  

Can you expand on the products you will be showcasing? 

Kambi is widely recognised for its Turnkey Sportsbook, but in 2024 we took a big step forward in modularising our services with the launch of multiple revenue-driving standalone products. 

These include Odds Feed+, which makes Kambi’s extensive library of high-quality odds available as bespoke packages via a single API integration which operators can tailor on demand to meet their unique requirements. Unlike competitor feeds, these odds are neither mid-points nor market averages, but crafted and traded through the large volume of bets and turnover we process through the Turnkey Sportsbook for unparalleled reliability and accuracy.  

We signed a landmark agreement with the highly regarded Brazilian operator Rei do Pitaco to supply Odds Feed+ in 2024, which went live in January, and there remains strong interest from several operators ambitious to elevate their offerings through our deep range of markets and highly accurate pricing.  

Kambi’s award-winning Bet Builder is also now available standalone, alongside a comprehensive range of Esports products, Front End development, Managed Trading services and Kambi’s Sportsbook Platform. Each of these solutions uniquely benefits from being born out of Kambi’s flagship solution, the world’s most powerful Turnkey Sportsbook, sharpened by billions of data points from across the globe.  

Why did Kambi take the decision to expand its product portfolio? 

With the majority of operators worldwide seeking a full end-to-end solution – which enables them to focus on areas where they can deliver strategic value such as CRM and marketing strategy – we anticipate that Kambi’s Turnkey Sportsbook will remain our core offering. 

However, we recognise that there is a trend towards some operators seeking greater flexibility and control over the products in their offering. Kambi’s wider product portfolio enables us to craft a solution to support any sports betting brand – regardless of the shape and scope of a particular operator’s ambitions, we can now offer a bespoke package of solutions capable of elevating their offering. Our open platform also allows operators to seamlessly bring additional third-party content to bear on top of Kambi’s sportsbook, unlocking endless potential for differentiation.
