Kambi is ready to make a major splash in the US and European on-property sports wagering markets over the next 12 months, kicking-off with this week’s launch of a DraftKings’ Sportsbook at the Resorts Casino in New Jersey.
Having already established a dominant position in New Jersey’s online sports betting market, Kambi is ready to replicate its success on-property and has at the ready more than 100 betting kiosks for its US customers.
In addition, following a strengthening of its supply chain, Kambi has in place hardware partners ready to meet increased kiosk demand in 2019.
This week, Kambi is preparing the ‘DraftKings Sportsbook at Resorts’ launch, which will feature a dozen betting kiosks, five over-the-counter points of sale and customised digital signage, providing Resorts with the most modern land-based wagering experience in New Jersey.
The launch will quickly be followed by Kambi’s debut in Pennsylvania, with Kambi ready to install its on-property Sportsbook across three major casinos in the Keystone State, cementing Kambi’s position as the number one sports betting partner in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
The launches will build on Kambi’s existing land-based footprint, with Kambi having operated on-property sportsbooks for a number of years across casinos in Mexico and Cambodia, as well as sports betting parlours in Belgium.
Max Meltzer, Chief Commercial Officer: “We’re very excited about bringing our high-quality Sportsbook to brick and mortar establishments in the US, where operators are recognising the excellence of our on-property product, both from a technology and player experience perspective. “In recent years, Kambi has invested heavily in developing a land-based solution that is on par with our online Sportsbook and, as a result, we now have the most advanced product on the market, not just in the US, but globally.
“This is one of the key reasons why the likes of DraftKings, Rush Street Interactive and Parx Casino have chosen to offer our on-property product and why we are quickly becoming the number one choice for online and on-property sportsbooks on both sides of the Atlantic.”
In addition to the DraftKing’s launch in New Jersey, Kambi also has an on-property agreement in place with Rush Street Interactive, part of the group which owns both the SugarHouse Casino and Rivers Casino in Pennsylvania.
Meanwhile, Kambi last week announced it had formed a partnership with Greenwood Gaming & Entertainment, owners of the largest gaming complex in Pennsylvania, Parx Casino.
According to the most recent figures released by the New Jersey regulator, Kambi-powered operators have assumed a commanding position in the Garden State’s online market, with an approximate 60% market share.
Kambi’s on-property solution will be on display at ICE 2019 in February. You can keep up to date with Kambi’s preparations for ICE, including weekly content, at www.kambievents.com.
