Gaining an advantage: Unlocking the potential of tennis betting
Day two of the Festival was rounded off with a session focusing on the growth of tennis betting, hosted by Kambi’s Head of Tennis Philip Mardh and Head of Live Tennis Richard Pratt. Beginning with an overview of the players that are driving turnover, the session focused on how tennis betting has evolved into a crucial sport for live betting, offering a look at key markets and the ingredients which make up a successful tennis offer.
“The key to tennis being such a successful live betting sport is the scoring system – the objective is to win the match, but this is broken down into many smaller sequences of scoring. This structure means there are always a number of exciting bet offers.”
